Do your packages include travel?

Sessions within the Okanagan area are included at no additional cost. For sessions that require travel beyond that, mileage is billed at the standard CRA kilometre rate. If an overnight stay is needed, accommodation is arranged in advance and covered by the client. Any travel costs will always be communicated clearly in your quote before anything is confirmed, so there are never any surprises.

This is my first photoshoot, what should I know?

Honestly, you don't need to do anything special. I keep sessions relaxed and easy to move through. I'll offer gentle direction when it's helpful, but there's no pressure to pose perfectly or know what you're doing. Most people feel a little uncertain at the start and completely at ease by the end. Before your session we'll connect to go over all the details, and afterward your edited gallery will be delivered through a simple online link. The main thing to bring is just yourself.

What happens if the weather is unfavourable for an outdoor shoot?

It depends on the kind of session and what you were hoping for. If you had your heart set on a bright, sunny day, I'm always happy to reschedule for better conditions. Overcast light can actually be really beautiful and flattering, so sometimes we push through and it turns out lovelier than expected. Either way, we'll figure it out together before the day arrives.
